The Tuberculosis Symposium endeavours, every second year, to present a quality
learning experience for TB health professionals. It is our objective that Symposium
speakers will assist delegates to:

1. Be apprised of current trends in the epidemiology of TB in Canada and throughout the world
2. Be aware of current techniques and technology in diagnosis, management and treatment
3. Identify strategies to improve prevention, service delivery, clinical practice and accessibility
4. Engage in active dialogue with expert TB researchers, clinicians and decision makers
